A little about me
"I'm a versatile animator based in the Bay Area with a focus on 3D animation for video games. I also possess a range of technical skills, including rigging, skinning, and some modeling and texturing. I excel at troubleshooting and finding creative solutions to complex challenges. My passion for learning and taking on new challenges drives me to continuously expand my skill set and push myself to grow, both personally and professionally. This drive to improve has been integral to my career development and success."

Aside from his expressive animation work, he is also a terrific motion graphics artist who could quickly stand up animatics for UI or VFX concepts. “I had the pleasure of managing Thinh for 3 years at DeNA. Thinh played a key role in leveling up the animation and art quality of games at DeNA. He not only helped to restructure the character rigs in Spine to create more efficient workflows and animation quality, but also collaborated with the art director and concept artists to bring more value to the characters themselves. Thinh’s efforts greatly contributed towards the success of BB2. He was also actively involved with prototyping a 2.5D animation rig in Maya when we moved away from Spine. He would help troubleshoot new workflows and tools, and helped define the final auto rigging tools used to create the 2.5D rig. Thinh’s work ethic, professionalism, and drive are truly rare in the gaming industry. While others spend their extra time surfing the net, Thinh would be upgrading his skills by watching tutorials and experimenting with new techniques. I hope to work with Thinh again in the future.”
